Flaire the Shapeshifter and Ning the Telepathic Panda

Meet Flaire Boyant: a shape-shifting teenager who loves her video games. Her best buddy is a super adorable and incredibly powerful telepathic panda named Ning. After escaping from a secret organization that was performing horrific experiments on them and their buddies, they finally settled down and currently reside in a peaceful, somewhat normal, American town.

 
In order to blend in with the students at the local high school, Flaire maintains her human form whenever she's in public. She leads and participates in her school's Video Game and Animal Rights clubs, where she's able to bring Ning. Only Flaire's closest buddies know the truth about Ning. Everyone else sees a stuffed panda bear.
 
The true power of Ning's telepathy has never been measured. We do know that he can alter your perception of reality so that you're unaware of his presence. Ning has also been known to have a calming, peaceful effect on others. He's known to break up fights, calm disputes and bring understanding to those who would otherwise be enemies. Ning is able to do this within seconds of hearing their thoughts.
 
Flaire and Ning work together to protect each other and their buddies from the hunters who seek to capture and experiment on them. They travel far from their new home in order to battle the hunters, hoping to one day dismantle the organization that tortured them and their buddies for so long.
